A Bear is a mammal of the family Ursidae but this bear is a brown bear. Bears first appear during part 1 of the Genin Exam, Quick Test!.
In Quick Test!, before the player can actually take the Genin Exam, the player is sent out to kill 12 brown bears to test the player if the player has what it takes to take the Genin Exam. There are four groups of brown bears with three bears in each group. And the player defeats these bears effortlessly, according to what the player's first character says.
