Kyubi (九尾狐, Kyūbi; Literally meaning "Nine Tails") is a white and orange nine-tailed fox with a red magatama on its foreheard and have a necklace of magatama and it uses Fire Release Ninjutsu. This Tailed Beast pet can be claimed by purchasing a Ninja Emblem, 2,200 Tokens, or 7,500 Tokens between August 5, 2011 to August 17, 2011 (previously August 5, 2011 to August 14, 2011) and can be claimed by August 24, 2011. Currently on the 5th April 2012, It can be claimed for 5500 tokens for an unknown limited time offer.

This pet returns on December 22, 2011 with the release of Hachibi for a limited amount of time and can be purchased for 5,000 Tokens until December 28, 2011 (the deadline was suppose to be December 26). After that, the Kyubi was featured in the Pet Shop as an offensive pet but could not be purchased. Kyubi was later available to be purchased from the Pet Shop for 5,500 Tokens on April 2, 2012 but only for a limited amount of time.

Between May 17, 2012 and May 30, 2012, Kyubi and Hachibi became re-available as a first prize reward for the Special Minis Machine event.

On June 12, 2012 until June 25, 2012, it can be rented from the Materials Market for 3 Souls of Tailed Beast for 14 days. Also on, June 12, 2012, it is shown in the Pet Shop that the tailed beast pets can be purchased for 5,000 Tokens but it couldn't actually be purchased from the Pet Shop and its label went back to "Not available now, come back later." on June 14, 2012.

The Kyubi returns again on July 10, 2012 where it can be purchased for 4,999 Tokens on July 10 or 6,000 Tokens on July 11 only.

Between July 24, 2012 and August 15, 2012 during the 3rd Anniversary, Gobi can be obtained at random as a grand prize reward from the Golden Ninja Scratch Card.

The Kyubi returns again on November 25. 2012  to? in Thanksgiving 2012 .Kyubi could be obtained by giving 50 friendship kunai.
